Makeup Moxie’s founder Adrie Buchanan has been appropriately called the “Beauty Shaman;” an industry veteran with 17 years of experience as a Master Esthetician, Makeup Artist and Permanent Makeup Artist. She has a passion for helping others find the beauty within themselves and shines a light for it to be expressed. She believes that beauty and soul are inextricably intertwined and that when people feel beautiful, they act in beautiful ways.

A natural teacher, Adrie began her career teaching makeup at a busy spa and utilizes those skills in her PMU trainings today. Adrie’s greatest joy in life is helping people find that spark of life that lies in the center of every being. Whether it’s through enhancing your confidence & innate beauty with PMU & Skin; or teaching the ins & outs of a rewarding career in Permanent Makeup, Adrie believes joy should be at the center of it all.

Technically trained in the above mentioned services, Adrie has received multiple certifications in all Permanent Makeup services offered and teaches Brows, Liner, Lips, and Laser Permanent Makeup Removal.

Adrie loves her clients like family and thrives on making connections with people on a daily basis.

In her spare time, Adrie enjoys gardening, canning and preserving, strength training, nutrition and fitness. She has a love of learning and you can find podcasts playing on her phone most of the time. She love concerts and music, and high vibe events where like minded humans gather to play.
